Op Portcullis

Paul, I have seen the Brief/Outline, and tried to reply on Discord, but am unable. I have also not found a way to print it out without eliminating a couple of forests! I have spotted a number of questions already. The proposal would seem to be to carry a great many Laser Rockets, and fire them as a ...

Re: Op Concord Tues 9th May

Minor mod made to the previously issued route. I have added a WP around 5 nm South of the target area to ease congestion. It should ease re-attacks by multiple aircraft, but keep us well clear of Red AA.

I will cover it in the brief and have included the revised A-10 sortie plan.

Re: Op Concord Tues 9th May

Latest sortie plan is attached, as 'Concord 97 Sqn.miz'. I will draw up a brief early next week. Ideally, we should be looking for 2-4 A-10s. All ac will carry 4 Mav-Ds, plus GBU-12s and GBU 54Bs as main weapons, plus AAM, and pods. A/C are heavy, and depending on our numbers, we may off-load some f...

Re: Op Concord Tues 9th May

Sorry to hear that Richard.

You may have noticed a couple of 'deliberate errors' in my plan - I will correct the weapons load idc.

Re: Op Concord Tues 9th May

I've had a look Paul. It seems fairly straight forward, but lacking in detail at the moment.

I have attached my initial outline miz.

Re: Op Protocol

Paul, thanks. I am out tomorrow morning, but am free thereafter. If you can suggest a period when you can spare the time, I will confirm that I am available. I am not sure whether we will need to use one of the RAF Air computers, but there should be one available. Thanks again.

Re: Op Protocol

Good morning, gents. I though that I should apologise for my grumpiness last night. I still cannot understand why we don't issue clear procedures and stick to them. I was again unable to get coms working properly last night, and so decided to stay out of your hair. As you probably noticed I was abou...

Re: Op Protocol

Paul, attached are the briefs for the 2 options: One using Mav, one without. As I say I favour the Mav version. It should only take a few minutes to alter the load at start-up.
