Hi Sneezy
Lie you, I'm new to the F-18 and the OCU. Currently undertaking my OCU training with Ade.
Hope the time difference between you and the UK doesn't present you with too many issues. Look forward to seeing you on the OCU flight line.

Group Advanced TacView Purchase -Anyone Interested.
Today, I closed by previous post dated Jun 22. Recently I've had enquiries from several members about advanced tacview codes. So, I am happy to buy 10 advanced codes, if 5 people show an interest. I'll sit on the spare 5, and sell them to new members in the future. Currently to buy a single advanced...

Re: 05/07/22 Faux Fulda Back to the 80's
Luis, Hendon, I fully understand fog of war. If we are to expect manpads or other threats to us in the A-10s, then we should always fly above them. If weather doesn't allow us to safely identify, and destroy unknown threats, we should not be authorised to fly. The Board of Enquiry after loosing a pi...

Luis,
Good to hear the CCRP 97 worked at 5000ft. I haven't used LASTE for a long time. I always found it was ineffective.

Re: Op Faux Fulda - 05-07-2022
Flyco, Myself, Luis, and Richard had a test fly tonight. When we have finished, I'll send you a few notes. To date, Mavs seem favourite, if they are allowed. Never pickled a CBU, with invalid fusing. Rockets and guns maybe. I came under a lot of ground fire, trying to use guns. Update: Weather inter...

Re: Op Faux Fulda - 05-07-2022
Flyco, I haven't flown your miz, but downloaded, and had a quick look. As you say, weather will be a challenge, as will selecting loadout. At WP5:Tnks TOT, ground level is 1500ft, and rising as the tanks move East. With cloud base of 7900ft, it only gives 6400ft for GBUs and clusters. Without testin...
