Had the great pleasure of going down to Mildenhall with my ATC Squadron, if memory serves me correct A10's AAR speed is 210kts IAS, everything else done at 240kts IAS. If at 18,000 with the standard 20°C that would make True Air Speeds at 274kts for 10's and 325kts for the rest of us. https://aeroto...

Until I got VR, then got sensible and got track IR I was constantly flying the basket rather than formating with the probe. I simply put my heading marker on the left hand side of the pod and go from there.
