I'm told that this can be done but I have not tried it myself.
I find I have to unplug my pedals otherwise I get unprompted turn commands on the ground.

I really don't know anything about triple screens but I know it can be done. A lot of the stuff we do is based around the 2D cockpit but I'm sure with some trial and error you can get the same results with 3D cockpits in aircraft that have them, or borrow them from other aircraft.
