Re: Op Protocol
Paul, I have been flying the mission, and have a few changes to suggest. They are mainly a reorganisation of the weapons, and so can be completed in 2-3 minutes, while we are waiting to taxi, so there will be no need to amend the mission. Basically, I had problems getting a good fix with the GBUs be...

Re: Op Protocol
Paul, if you have flown the profile, and it works for you, submit it for use in the protocol mission.
I will get on with drawing up the A-10C Flt Brief.

Re: Op Protocol
OK, I think that I have a working solution for this mission, using the above set-up. If all 4 ac fly, we are probably going to be a bit heavy on ordnance, but we can offload some of the ordnance if we get a full house. I have also decided to keep a common Laser code, to allow buddy lasing where nece...

Op Protocol
This is my latest iteration for Op Protocol, although I am still not happy with it. The intention is the locate and make runs against the targets from the IP, leaving the static Tanks until last. However, at the around 1000 ft agl and nose on t the AFVs we are vulnerable to cannon fire - hence the 2...

Ukraine
Interesting letter in today’s Telegraph. Making a case for A-10s to be loaned to Ukraine. Not the fighter cover they might requires, but I would have thought them ideal for the ground battle, relatively easy to service, and even easier for an experienced military pilot to convert to. Any volunteers?

Re: Op Centurion 3
Don't want to teach mother to suck eggs, but take the dangerous one's out first. The SA-8 and the SA-19 were the ones that could kill you at above 2 miles, and all of them have an RWR signature. Take your time to find them, and kill them with Maverick. Then you can set about the (relatively) harmles...

Re: Op Centurion 3
Sorry about tonight gents. My mic appeared to be working but any noise it made was clearly not being sent. I tried my spare headset with the same result. I decided to stick with you to give the rest of my system a run. I was hearing you fine, and found it very frustrating not to be able to reply. On...

Sorry, Paul. All are Grid 37 T. We take off in 38T but enter 37T before we coast out.
