Tuesday night

Post by Neil Willis »

The issues we had with viewpoint shifting, and the Aries radio system are most likely due to the dedicated server needing a few tweaks somewhere. Can I recommend that everyone removes all mods, and runs a clean copy of the latest version of DCS World whenever they log into the server until the current problems have been resolved?

If we can eliminate any external elements, then it may make it easier for Jim to get everything running smoothly. Once we have the nod from Jim, we can then start to introduce mods, and then try running Aries again.

yup cheers Neil.

I can confirm that the view position issue's that were seen were related to the mission and not the server as I have tested that.

I think that might be my fault.

I was trying to add pre-set radio frequencies with prepare mission option, I think I may have inadvertently uploaded the wrong mission file.

That's good news then. At least we have cleared that one up.
