FYI.
the pvp mission is not restarting by itself, often when I log on it's stuck at mission will restart in one minute.
PvP mission
Re: PvP mission
Last night I put two and two together on why sometime's there's no or late response when you call in to tanker/a.t.c e.t.c. on the pvp DW mission.
I think it's an effect of when Dodge 1 is calling RTB at angel 5 every 20 seconds (forever.. )
He's clogging up the radio-traffic, which you very well might not notice when your in an A10, as the first thing you do is switch channel to shut him up.
Never mind that in the FC3 aircraft you can't get rid of the chatter...
Anyone up for dropping the random-airtraffic script from the pvp missions.?
Should be an on/off switch in there somewhere?

Re: PvP mission
I will have to get Neil to take a look David as that is a bit beyond me and I would rather not make a complete mess of it.

Re: PvP mission
I guess the easiest thing to do would be to delete Dodge 1 altogether. That should shut him up!
I'll get onto it now.
Thanks David.

Re: PvP mission
I made a version called 5.11 thats in the dropbox now, deleted the RAT (random air traffic) script line, whilst I was there I also noticed the the restart script was pointing to and older .miz file, and that's probably why the auto restart ain't working. Don't know if it works in the 5.11 version. got to got to bed and it showed 2 hours to restart when I left. Anyways otherwise I think the thing to do is open it up in the mission editor on the server and point it to the correct file. Should possibly maybe solve the mission not restarting error. All in all a good night, at one point 12 guy's flying on the server. Best /D

Re: PvP mission
Good work David, if you see any other obvious issues, feel free to put them right too!
Thanks,

thanks Neil.
I also renamed the Mig15's that where named Mig21 .
If anyone actually see the 5.11 version restart by itself let me know.

Re: PvP mission
I guess we just have to minimise the number of friendly AI as much as possible. They really are a pain in the ass!

Re: PvP mission
Took a look at latest version on the server.
Might be that it's the recon flight's from vaziani and kutasi that are unable to RTB properly because the pattern is full of dynamic AI aircraft that does not land properly. They are named Enfield and Dodge.
Un-checking the AI-Comm's button on these flights could alleviate the problem. perhaps/maybe.
