Ladies and Gentlemen,

Proposing the formation of a RAFAIR virtual Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) along roughly the same concept as the 60 SQN for Hueys, i.e. it is 'generally' a 'secondary' Sqn to your primary.

I have some old 'crates' I can hardly fly but want to get a bit better with them.... some appropriate maps - Normandy and Channel are perfect for this.

Thinking along the lines of a social fly-in say one a fortnight, flying with friends, sharing new stuff, war stories, nipping across the channel a sortie or 2 and back for beer.... hands on, old skool, love of flight sort of thing rather than using technical systems, big manuals, egos etc... and the progress later where ever the consensus wants.

You do not even have to own a 'crate' everyone ha a freebie, a TF-51D Mustang, an unarmed training variant of the P-51D Mustang.

A place to be laid, back, have bit of fun and learn and mimic brave men of old.....

I'm happy to organise and write some generic maps & missions and others may want to too.

Maps to be Normandy and Channel.

Anyone else like minded?
Kind Regards
Chris :)

Count me in too.

We’ll need to expand the week to at least 9 days if we start anything else though!

Weekend warrior time I presume?

Of course subject to consensus but that is what I would envisage, maybe a bi-weekly slot on say Sunday some time..... and maybe alternating with the helo lads once they're trained up.. one week Battle of Britain, next week Vietnam. that sort of stuff, but as I said at the start. a consensus, if indeed there is a good interest in this side... hopefully :D
Kind Regards

I've got all the WW2 airframes, so if you need a dastardly foe, I can oblige too.

We could of course do with a Hurricane, Emil, Stuka and the He111 and a couple of Dorniers, but apart from that, what have the Romans ever done for us?
