- It is accepted that for most this will a secondary Squadron and in general play night will be Sunday.
- The emphasis is firmly based on achieving competence in all aspects this iconic airframe before moving onto further WW2 roleplay.
- A training program will be written and an IP with good knowledge of aircraft and tactics has been engaged.
Tonight we had 7 spits up which was great to see and of course a few bar-b-que but not too many.
If interested in joining this endeavor, please post. If there are sufficient numbers I'll formerly apply to the Ministry.ist]

Re: Formation of Spitfire IX Squadron
Primarily I'm suggesting the Spitfire as the main airframe. Of course people will have interest in the Mustang, Jug, Moss etc as well as the i8 and German craft so there is potential to get off course during the learning phase and become masters of none. Ideally once the learning is complete sub sections of other airframes would be an advantage.
At least that's the plan....
Kind Regards

Thats fine Steve, as long as when absent you sent in a decent bottle of 10 year old (or older) single malt Bushmill's, all is good.
So far numbers are:
Yogi
Chris 'Yankee'
Pinetree
Phil
Chris 'Gizzy'
Weasel
wee Neal
Scooby
Jack
Steve
Neil
Chris 'Fodder'
and probably a few others yet, so I'll get the ball rolling.
