Andrew, we seem to be stepping on each others toes. Since, you seem to have better advanced information that I, I will cease planning and fall in behind you.
Please put me down for a slot somewhere.
What has happened to sleepy old Sharjah in the 45 years since I flew in and out of there!!

Alan, I am only gathering mission sign up numbers for 97 Squadron. I posted the link and information for operation Portcullis that is in the main thread.
From my understanding you were going to handle the mission briefing for 97 Squadron, which I am looking forward to.
Cheers Andrew

Re: Tuesday 21st July 2020 Op Portcullis
Andrew, as read it there are 5 separate threads covering Portcullis. I foresee total confusion - in fact, I am already confused.
We do need to see if we can transfer all the stuff, into a single "Portcullis" thread, and use that for all the general planning. We can use separate threads for each part of the mission, but primarily to collect attendees names for each part.
In the meantime, I will go ahead with my plans to fly training mission this Thursday (16 Jul) to familiarise ourselves with the general area.

Can someone please put a link for the right post?
I also found 4 posts in 97th for Portcullis.
But count me in please ... It look very much like Thor Anvil, coincidence, even the situation, at least I know well the area

Re: Tuesday 21st July 2020 Op Portcullis
what we have here is a failure to read posts made by those with rank ie the CO or above , and the lower ranks jumping in and posting the same things.
Now might i surgest that either paul or flyco or there apointed subverants for what every reason make the reavant posts reguarding missions and avibility.
