I have finally started to try to get the HMD up and running. The display appears (albeit skewed by Helios) and moves with my head movements, but I cannot get any of the HOTAS controls to affect the display - even the brightness control is inoperative. On the other hand the SPI wedding-cake display appears, as do other items, such as flight members etc. Is there anything else I need to do?

Is your HMD SOI? It was changed to Coolie Hat Down with the 5Nov DCS update.

Also, you can change what appears on the HMD by editing the profile with "STAT", then HMCS on the MFCD. Once selected, move up/down with the SYMBOL buttons, and cycle through the OCLD-OFF-ON with the button below SYMBOL.
