Here's the revised brief for Op Persian Storm.
It contains numerous changes, namely,
1. T/O at 191830Z. We all have to be airborne by 1920Z.
2. Transit to TGT area at 21000ft, and 200ind. It was 8500ft & 220ind.
3. Attack all airfield defences at 21000ft, with precision bombs.
4. Now all SA15, Shilka, & ZSU, have been allocated, with two attack runs. Initially only the first attack had been briefed.
Edit:-
5. Flt 1 has 6 air defence, & Flt 2, 4 air defence targets. It was 5 each.
Apologies for the delay.
Alan,
Flying at 21K works well. Took a long time to get to ToC. It must be the ambient temp.

Geoff, it took me 16 minutes. I was at max AUW, and I brought the power back to 92% at around 1000 ft agl, and eased it up to 93 % passing 18,000 ft, reducing ias by 5 kts every 5000 ft. This is my standard profile for a multi-ac climb.

Geoff, flew as Alan at 21k and no problem taking out the tgt at WP6.
It does take a long time to get to that alt, but we have no dire rush if airborne on time, so certainly doable.

Alan, Richard,
I tested it flying the check miz. It was impressive flying through the Sharjah extended centerline with all the AI departing. I think I'll give their approach a call.
