Quick test result using my above posted method:

As described first missile was shot down, 2nd got thru. He did fire a missile to try and get the 2nd one, but it overflew the mav. If I'd fired the 2nd one a second later he might of got it. You have to be quick with your launches.

Paul,
Well done. I can't even get a mav image with the "D". I get an image with the "H". Do you know what brightness/contrast settings you are using with the "D"?

Maybe when I can get a clearer image with the "D", I'll be able to ripple quicker.

Duke has suggested using a GBU 12, above 26000ft. I tried a GBU12 at 28k, and it worked perfectly.

Hi Geoff, I think my TGP Brightness was around 42, Contrast about 35, and using Black Hot Mode. I didn't even think about fiddling with the Gain, I'll have to give it a go.

Yea I think if you can get to about 22,000ft or 23,000ft, the Tor can't fire on you.

Thanks.
My image on the TGP is fine. It's the mav screen that's giving me problems.
I'll do some testing this afternoon.

My image on the MAV page was really bad too...
Will have to look more into it.

All,
I've made a decision. I will be using Mav H against the Sa-15s. Cannot get a lock with the D. Cruise to target area will be at 8500ft. I'll try to put Mav D's on all the other A-10s, but be prepared to re-arm.
