It never rains, but it pours. Finally while setting up for tomorrow, I find I have a fault in my throttle quadrant. Hence, I am about to take my LH console apart, get my throttle box out and see if I can locate the offending switch or wire.

Hope to see you tomorrow evening - but the gods of electronics may yet win!

I know what you're thinking - this is starting to look like LMF!

Yes, there is a fault within my Throttle box. Unfortunately, once I got it out, I found it was all pop-rivetted together. Thus, as a temporary measure I assigned a spare switch to that engine mode. It now seems to work OK.

I also discovered that ED have re-done the whole of the control switchery. I've not found anything critical within my set up yet, and so I should be on the flight line tonight.

UK Real World Local planned Start time 1930Z
4 X A-10-C2 @ Ramat David airfield
On Initial Entry to AC - replace 21 X guided rockets with 2 X MavD

Load Out 9 x GBU-12, 2 x Mav-D, 21 x M-151 2 x Aim 9M
TGP ALQ-184 Flares & Chaff 80% Fuel

Radios ATC – 360.2 to WP 2 then AWACS – 251.0
Flt – 128.3 Listen out on Back-up – 33.3 FM

Airfield QNH 29.94, Elev 130 ft R/W 33

Taxi @ 0510 T/O 0519
Dep Roll @ 15 sec intervals Climb straight ahead
Accel to 200 kts then Set 92% continue climb to level at 7,500 ft @ 220 kias

Route WP 2 Turn Rt for WP 3 maintain 8,000 ft 220 kias
Maintain 15 sec (1nm) interval in trail
Fence-in approaching WP 3 to hold inbound to WP3 at 7,500 ft
Do not go beyond WP3 until
SAM-6 is confirmed destroyed
And Time is 0630 or after
Locate, ID, and lock up the SA-19 Tunguska at
BT 32955 02194 Elev 2600 ft

Main Attack Initial attack is to be made against the above identified Tunguska
With the Tunguska destroyed:
No 1 will attack Trucks and AFVs in WP 4 area
No 2 & 3 will search for AFV Convoys on road between WP 4 and WP6
No 2 will attack the lead convoy and advise No 1 when complete
No 3 will attack the second convoy and advise No 1 when complete
No1 will allocate additional targets as required.
All military targets in the area may be attacked.

Recovery Reform at WP 3 for RTB
Lead will call freq change to 360.2, and contact Ramat David
Join for a 5 sec break to land iaw ATC instructions
