Post by Flyco »

First run at the mission. Let me have any problems or suggestions.

There are Cold & Hot versions for easy test-flying

Hi Alan, just test flown it, no problems encountered, only in getting close to the truck park before being launched upon.

Yes, Paul, a difficult target to reach. However, the fixed SAM is due to be taken out before we get there, while the trucks etc will presumably be moving.

More of a problem will be that we need to knock them out one at a time; hence the use of LG Rockets. There are no tanks and so a single rocket should take out most of them. I thought we might fly a staggered approach at around 1-2 nm spacing, allowing us to set up an oblong pattern.

Hopefully the SEAD strike will make things a little easier then. Thanks Alan.

Tried it twice last night guys. First time I got taken out by sa19 but only after I got 3 trucks.

Second time I took 4 mavs and removed the sa19 first, then had no issues at tgt1

Hi Alan,

Is this mission OK to add to my main miz?

Cheers

Andrew, yes, it has been tested by all of us. We will probably change the load out, but we can do that before take-off.

Thanks Alan all loaded on.
I'll publish the check miz on Monday, here and Discord.

One note, I'm struggling setting the waypoint at ground level, it used to require going forward and back with the mission editor waypoints but now it does not seem to take at all, maybe the update. Assume waypoints are set 100ft higher than ground level and may need adjusting with the nav computer.
