Thanks Richard. I had noted the obstructive smoke in my practice, after one of my Mavs fell short and hit the trucks. However, they did not scatter - very strange. We will have to suck it and see. At least with the retarded bombs you can drop on a map co-ordinate, and you should at least get some hits. I guessed the number of LG Rocket would be excessive, but I was not sure what else might be useful.
I am writing up the plan at the moment. However, the maxim "No plan survives the first contact with the enemy" will almost certainly apply. It should be up here sometime around Sat or Sun.
As long as the current route, and timings apply, I am content, to leave it as it is. We can run a couple of practices in the meantime and swap weapons loads at start-up if it seems best.
Incidentally, Boar 3 has a No2 which has the same load-out but will be a hot "start". It might save you 10 minutes of so if you are late on the night.

A brief for the mission is attached. Sorry about the complexity of the targeting.

Final version. Please let me know if you spot any problems.
At the moment No 3 and 4 are Hot on the pan, to enable Richard to make up time if he is late.
My Discord is still not working, so I will be on Teamspeak.

Re: Op Centurion Tues 6 December
After running a couple of practices, I have decided that I would prefer to have 4 Mavs and do away with 21 M282s.
First, if we are limited to 2 A-10s, it would simplify knocking out all four ZSUs, without getting too close, if one of the Mavs misses. I have found that, particularly for the northern-most ZSU, it is very easy to lock up the trucks in front of this the ZSU without it being immediately apparent until you get quite close.
If anyone has a problem with this, or would like any other weapon changes, let me know by Sunday 1200 and I will change the loadouts accordingly.

OK, final tidied-up version attached. I have set all the ac to Hot start - just in case the brief is protracted (and to give me time to set up the new laser codes and weapons profiles etc). I have retained the 4th ac as Boar 3-2, with the same targets order as for Boar 3-1.
Paul, I will leave you to approve it and pass it on to Andrew.

This is beginning to look like the Marie Celeste. I have seen nothing about this mission for a few days now.

Thanks Richard. As I say, there is nothing on the forum about tomorrow's mission. I also cannot reconnect on Discord, except by using a 7 yr-old, previous connection to Discord, which does not give me access to any messages on the RAF Air Discord net.
I'm afraid to say it, but from where I am looking, RAF Air appears to be dying.

Re: Op Centurion Tues 6 December
Alan, I've just this minute replied, there's still life in RAF Air yet.
We have around 25 participating tomorrow evening. I'm afraid real life does get in the way occasionally and I was unable to work on the mission yesterday, I will be working on it tonight. Look out for the check miz at around 10pm.
With regards to the 7 year old Discord account, would you like a new invite sent so you can use that account to join?
