Urgent Appeal - Everyone Please Read

Hi one and all,

This is a post that I had hoped would not have to be made.

Today, Neil has had the server fail again, but this time it is terminal by the looks of it. He is fairly sure the issue is with the motherboard and CPU.

He estimates that a new board and CPU will be in the order of £350 - £400, which at the moment we do not have in the coffers as we have had to buy a few bits for the server recently that has drained our funds.

We have always worked on the basis that flying with us and using our systems would be FREE. Obviously we get some folks that like us enough to donate some money each month to help us through the on going costs, and we are VERY grateful for this.

However, today's situation means that I must go cap in hand to you all and appeal to you that if you have enjoyed flying with us to perhaps put you hand in your pocket and send a few quid our way. It does not matter how much you can spare as every little will help get us through this situation. I know times are tough in the world today with COVID etc.

Other than myself, no one will know who has/hasn't donated so please don't think that this will turn into a 'he has donated, but he hasn't' situation.

Hey, ive still got an 5820k with a motherboard 16gb of ram and a watercooling just laying around, not sure if its good enough to be used as a server but id be willing to donate that hardware. Im not sure if the AIO watercooler is still fully operational however

I honestly do not have the words to thank you for what you are doing to help us through this situation.
