Normandy - Date context is important

Post by Neil Willis »

One essential thing in Normandy if you are portraying WWII period missions is to set the correct date in the mission planner. Things like railway engines are determined by the date set - pre 1950s you'll get steam trains, post 1950s will result in diesel electric engines instead.

Worth noting. Do the civilian vehicles switch era also? It would also be nice to see the old horse and carts back again.

I have seen traction engines, and vintage tractors, but nothing horse drawn yet.

I'd say horses and carts were an essential ingredient of the asset pack for Normandy - a lot of German transport was horse drawn even as late as 1944.
