Stennis Satellite View

Post by Neil Willis »

There is a way to show the top down view of the Stennis for mission planning and placement of static objects.

It is still bugged, so you may encounter some issues.

Go to the Mission Editor folder in your latest Beta version of DCS World, and open the file "MissionEditor.lua" using notepad++ and remove the remarks from the line "--test_topdown_view_models = true" by removing the two dashes at the beginning of the line so it reads "test_topdown_view_models = true".

Then when viewing in satellite view, you can accurately place anything on the deck.
