F18 How do you locate enemy shipping?

It's probably a stupid question, I assume you all have forward looking radar that finds it. What distance does that go out to?

I refuse to give you a 10 digit grid (geoff take note), do I give you a hint and say it's in FH 91 for instance or does AWACS give the game away?

Give an area to search, that's it. Height for Mk 1 eyeball air threat dependent, Sea Radar and RWR.
