What we need is simple scenarios that can be fleshed out in to a multi squadron mission. Personally I just look at what's been in the news or a book (past and Present) and go from there. Ideally get a rough mission brief together. Then use the templates to create an intel map. Would we benefit from a TS meeting to discuss intel map creation and copying and pasting flights? I can do Thursday evening if anyone is available.

Once you have your head around intel maps all you need is your imagination (try to kerb it), a rough understanding of the mission editor and an understanding of capabilities. I would suggest we check each others missions to begin with.

When you have you're intel map created I can distribute and set up the forum posts if needed. I'm happy to give any assistance I can, it's always good to share the blame when an RAF Air squadron is blown to bits by a hundred ACE Ai migs.

I was going to run a mission on the 27th April after Matt's, does anyone want to volunteer for the 4th May? Going forward I am hoping to get missions planned and distributed a little earlier than I have been. This will give squadrons time to train for a specific capability if needed or get familiar with the terrain.

I have updated the mission Template for Syria. MIST, CTLD, CSAR, have all been loaded so doesn't need to be done again.

I have added a Marks to all trigger that can be used. If you are not familiar with it, take a look at the template and this is what would be seen in the mission on the F10 Map.

Can someone post a working Caucuses mission from RAFair that I can adapt, ideally with carriers and tacans etc already in!

Here was the last mission of the Dumass mini campaign. I think all of the problems we're ironed out by then

Steveb25, excellent, I've not got to grips with it. Are you a mission builder? The more the merrier. :D

Just got Combatflite and trying to get to grips with it, and not built missions since version 1.5

Experimenting with mission building at the moment, but must admit it's a very nice piece of software,
but I believe that some tweaks do still need to be done in Mission Editor.

Would certainly like to build for missions here, but getting to grips with the F18 at the moment!! ;)
