Compatibility with DCS 2.0

Post by Flyco »

I have just noticed that at the bottom of the UniversRadio configuration page there is a section that reads:

'UniversRadio doesn't work with DCS OpenAlpha 2.0 and NTTR map.'

Does anyone have any further information about the compatibility?

Not 100% sure, but I think that refers to the elevation data being missing, which would be used for line of sight comms. In other words, I assume it treats the whole area as flat and there is no degradation of comms when going behind hills.

There has been a release on the website for the NTTR terrain which gives all the elevation data. Just download it (and move the export lua across to 2.0 if you haven't already) and it works fine. This was released before the new map came out.

In other news I have the beta for the new version as I have been in contact with the developer and he asked me bug test for him but haven't had time to test it for him.
