Re: Potential extra livery for the RAF F14
Yes I thought that myself. I would have to try that later when I'm home though and do a proper texture job as the test there was just photoshopped to see how it would look.

Re: Potential extra livery for the RAF F14
Well here's the two side by side. Added the tail stripes too now.
I've made both as separate liveries in my mod pack.

These both look great, really well done!
The grey nosed version looks just like the Tornado F3's I used to see on the flight line at RAF Leeming, don't recall seeing a black nosed version but hey, I've drank a lot of beer and killed a lot of brain cells since then

Thanks Ian, the grey one is based on the Tornado livery for XI squadron, the black nose was at the request of Mutley to see how it looked.

Re: Potential extra livery for the RAF F14
Uzi had good coordination and I think we were also more disciplined on comms.
We dealt with the stragglers from maykop (did the random guy screw the timings up?)
And most of the others too.
We lost our lead and I ran out of missiles.
I was escorting the a10s and noticed another pair launching. The intention was to shepherd them home but I made the judgement that the mig29 pair would be on them before they could make it.
I decided to engage or at least distract them with guns only and 3k lb fuel.
I slid behind 1 who ran away and I suspected the other was on my 6.
I never saw him and annoyingly neither did my rio. He got me I a classic bounce tactic. I was the meat in the sandwich and just didn't have the fuel to run.
The distraction did work though and all the a10s made it home so il consider that job done. Long walk to kutaisi though!

Re: Potential extra livery for the RAF F14
well very well done on the skins. outstanding.
Now we need to make a desision.................Bugger i cant make my mind up.
But going with the consenous i think that we shud adop the Grey nose version and also have the option to fly Black nose.
If you can please leaaise with Mukka Matt n Richard Rogders to make these skins avible for UZI flight and anybody else who wishes to see them and use them.
Once again thank you for your time and effort in making them.

Rgr will do.
I can add both the skins to the pack so you have options. I have already made an OvGME file for these so easy enough to install.
