I've taken the Tomcat off the Vinson before.

I think I read just yesterday that the latest patch, this week, has borked the carrier again with aircraft randomly bouncing up and down and sliding off the deck etc. I'll try a cat launch from Stennis and Vinson later on.

I tried on the Vinson and couldn't as there was no way to hook it up to the cat, or it refused to. How do you do that?

It's a good while ago, long before the super carrier was announced and before the issues started with the carrier we have. Might not work now, but I had the Vinson plumbed into a mission and I remember it was the same as the stennis to operate from. Might be borked now though. 🤔

Maybe I just got confused by the lack of actual catapult on the deck. I have no desire to launch from the Vinson in any case, it makes my eyes bleed when I see the textures. haha.

Maybe I can do a reskin? :D

It might be my confusion, I definitely got off a carrier that wasnt the stennis, and I could have sworn it was the Vinson.

If you can get right on the stern, the tomcat has enough thrust with full flap and a light load to get off the deck without a cat.

My apologies on this one, it was Ronny Raygun that I went off of previously, not the Vinson, my bad 😶
