It's great to see how many people people are interested in this.
I think there could be some false modesty going on here. Now I'm getting worried.

Nice one Andrew. Count me in please Huey.
Also have the MI8 but never fly it.
I'm pretty bad in Huey too...

Re: RAF Air Helicopter Club
A big thank you to Chris for running this evening and taking us through the steps. It was a very rewarding evening.
I'm pretty sure we all enjoyed it. I would be very happy to fly again on a regular Monday night and see where it goes from there.
Seeing our hueys lined up and taking off in formation was superb, over the hill and under fire. Honestly, for anyone thinking about taking the plunge, jump in, it was like being in a film.

Re: RAF Air Helicopter Club
Yep I concur with Andrew, a superb nights helo flying. Chris was the perfect IP, the flight at the end of the session, loading troops, flying to the AO in formation, Sams flying, tactical landing in combat zone, offloading troops, getting the hell out of the combat zone, flying under power cables, what a rush.
I think a great time was had by all.
Thank you Chris for organising it all.
I am certainly up for more.
