Crosswinds 1.5 v's 2.0

Post by Paul Gillon »

I've struggled with crosswind take offs lately.

So... wondering if it was just me that was crap, I put some practice in last night.
DCS 1.5 - I was utterly useless and not able to get off the ground at 5 m/s @90 Deg.
DCS 2.0 - A lot more success even at + 10m/s @90 Deg

Has anybody experienced this?
Is it just me and if so can anybody help?

It's that french fly by wire I tell ya !

I struggle myself, gentle rudder inputs seem's to help for me if you catch it in time.
Haven't tried comparing 1,5 and 2.
