Comm's in servers

Post by Luis »

Since I'm new in RAF Air I would like to know if there is a comm's specific procedure for servers, if is done with team speak or SRS.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
I searched all over the forum and website but couln't find any information.
Thanks

Hi Luis, we tend to use Teamspeak for mission briefing etc, but once on the RAFAIR Server we try and use SRS if its not being temperamental.

No, nothing specific, although on mission nights we tend to use 128.30 for VHF, and 251.00 on UHF once airborne.

On mission night you'll get a FRAG with all frequencies listed. Have a look at past missions in the forum.

Thanks Andrew, I was referring to casual server usage, but if I'm getting the picture correctly, we use Team speak and AI ATC on TO, landing and inbound. Right?

You should use SRS and airfield frequencies for take off and landing.
