DCS Radio Suite
Has anyone looked into some trials of the new radio system that has appeared in it's early form with today's update?

Re: DCS Radio Suite
I had a play with it over the December break with the guys from Razbam, and although it is a work in progress, it appears robust, simple to use, and would ideally replace all current VoIP systems.
At present it lacks any kind of voice and squelch effects, and doesn't appear to have range or terrain attenuation features. It also lacks the necessary LotATC, ATC or AWACS suite or support.
To activate the system, there is a tab in the options section, and you need to create enough PTT mapping to support the radios plus one for intercom for multi crew use and one for pre-cockpit chat. Our server is already configured for it's use, so I suggest you all give it a try with a view to it becoming the main VoIP and radio comms suite in use for all missions. We will not make the cross over until we have more features, which hopefully won't be too far in the offing.

60 Sqn will start trialling and also see what the multi crew bit works like. This will be crucial for the Apache.

Yep, essential.
Hopefully it'll be nearer completely rolled out when the Apache turns up.
