Flight Training Programme

Post by Neil Willis »

With the arrival of what looks to be a useful and free T-45, we have an opportunity to introduce an effective and accessible training squadron for beginners and experienced pilots who want to get back to basics.

Anyone who wants to enroll into the Elementary Flying Training Programme, please show your interest here.

We want to cover all the items that form the foundation for good pilot skills such as formation flying, navigation, communications, aerobatics, stall and spin recovery. Anything that will add to your toolbox of flight know how.

Sounds good if you could add another day in the week.

Hi guys
Ive recently joined Rafair and after talking to Chris (Gizzy) have decided to join 892 with the FA18.

However I think it would be a good idea to do some basic training before I jump in the deep end and would like to join the FTP if possible.

Thanks,

Mick

Can you spin the T-45? - Just tried - the quick answer seems to be 'sometimes' - with a reasonable recovery. Other times it just sits there wallowing in the buffet and losing height quite modestly - with again a benign recovery.
