Low-Level Navigation sorties

Post by Neil Willis »

Here is a rather crude first mission for the low-level navigation training syllabus. It will be refined and improved, and a full ground school and mission briefing will be added when I am 100% again. Apologies for the slow inefficient service, but as I am sure you are aware, I have been unwell for a while now, but hopefully that is all behind me now.

The second in the LLN series is now available.

It requires the pilot to plan the mission in order to minimize exposure to enemy sensors, and complete a low-level photo-reconnaissance of 2 airfields within enemy territory prior to an airstrike. There is a time-critical aspect to the mission as intelligence sources believe it may be possible to identify individuals thought to be present.

Plan the route, and ensure you overfly the objectives as required. Anticipate fuel use, bingo 1 & 2, joker and chicken states as well as evading all possible enemy detection. The mission should be flown at low level throughout.
