I just did a test, in DCS Beta, with latest patch, and if my throttle is in the idle position before I hit the engine start switch, the engine won't wind up.
Once I hit the cutoff lever behind the throttle and throttle is in off position, then I hit engine start switch again, the engine started winding up, once RPM is at 092, then I moved throttle to idle, and engine wound up fully till it was idling.

Looks like back up an running
Had to reset the throttle control in settings in DCS , but all seems good now
