Super-Carrier on Bankler

Post by Flyco »

For those of you who want to try this, it is simply a matter of entering the Bankler's mission, and replacing the present carrier (Stennis) with one of the Super Carriers. Then just save the mission with a new name (I inserted "-SC-" at the start of the old mission name.

That's it, just fly as normal. You will get a message about no comms, but the assessment part works fine. I got a 41 on my first run - not great but acceptable for me! That FLOLS is a great improvement on the on-carrier indication.

I suspect that any mission can be updated by the same procedure - just replace Stennis with your choice of super-carrier.

The only problem is, I feel really intimidated by all those deck-hangers-on watching my every move.

I know what you mean. They look very critical if you ask me!

Have you noticed the LSO script at the end of the trap? I have to learn the heiroglyphs, but it looks pretty comprehensive. The LSCS or whatever it’s called is a nice aid too.

Going to try some night ops later.
