Re: Joining
I would imagine a Fleet Squadron would provide support to ground forces such as the Royal Marines, Fleet defence, Anti Shipping strikes, pretty much anything a maritime task force found itself mixed up in.
I am sure No 1 Squadron would also be embarked with us and the Tomcats..

And of course to complete the picture a clatter of Mi-17's to move the grunts about.... I'm well experienced to help anyone to advanced level on all aspects of the most realistic FM of any DCS helo... if such was their wish... and have written many helo ops with CTLD medium...Neil Willis wrote: ↑01 Jun 2020, 21:17 I would imagine a Fleet Squadron would provide support to ground forces such as the Royal Marines, Fleet defence, Anti Shipping strikes, pretty much anything a maritime task force found itself mixed up in.

Hmm not totally an obscure link as the Empire Test Pilots School (ETPS) had a clatter of Mi-17's to train Afghanistan pilots (Mi-17 Manuals are freely available) DCS even has their skin as standard... hell I reckon I could certainly drum up a load of mercenaries if you brillcream and ice cream lads cant fly a real aircraft now and again ha ha ha ....
