f16 Viper Tutorial links
Re: f16 Viper Tutorial links
Flyco that's a good tip , zooming in when connected to keep a ref point. Hate AAR can only connect for about 5 seconds at a go, but that might also help me , that an tweeking my controls a little bit more so on roll as that's where I seem to lose it more often

Ref AAR, I did find something new that at least helped myself.
The problem I found was bobbling around once hooked up, and despite plenty of practice in the F18, Tomcat and Harrier, was struggling.
What seemed to help, was to stop focusing on the tanker and instead keep the tanker in my peripheral vision, but focus on the velocity vector on my HUD.
In short, I found that by primarily focusing on my HUD, that I could keep a better eye on my AOA (i.e. is the vector bang on the horizontal line) and also my airspeed. Sure, there's still a need to keep the tanker there for it's lights, but primarily focusing on the HUD really smoothered things out.
