Ian, only reason I didn't appoint you is with the ATC I thought you have enough on your hands at present, but if we grown you will be an element lead.

Hi Matt,

I've no issues at all with the appointment. I personally don't think I'm a competent enough pilot yet to assume a Sqn role at this time, but I'm looking forward to learning from you all and getting there eventually

I agree about ATC keeping me busy, and to be honest I just want to get started and make it a reality

. Fingers crossed for Monday evening if I'm back from my hols early enough.
