They'll all be put onto the website so everyone can have a set. The only question mark will be personalized skins, but we'll try and accommodate them too if it is humanly possible. If we have to, we can go with a minimum skin download for smaller hard drive space guys, and a full one for those with bags of room.

If we do that, then it will be necessary to change your skin on the loading screen unless we can get some form of permanent placing for everyone in a template, so mission planners just add what they need onto what's already there.

It is a matter we have to discuss and get to a practical, workable solution.

With personalised skins if everyone doesnt have them then the people who dont have it will see the DCS default skin for that ac. Not the mission default skin.

There is a workaround but it will have to be placed in the RAF skin packs so that it modifies some files.

Yep, we will see a basic skin in most cases, but wouldn’t it be cool to have your own wagon, parked in your spot, and be able to depart the same way every flight.

We could even provide a lamp post for Mutley’s spot so he could make sure everyone knows it’s his territory.

It would depend on us all being regular fliers of course, but we do get a lot who show up almost every time.

We might use personalised skins as an incentive to completion of training?

I agree. I can certainly compile an easy to install update for everyone in two flavours, high memory and low memory usage.

I can then make default skins be RAF ones so the liw memory chaps at least still see an RAF skin.

We’ll find a way I hope to let more individuals skins work for all.

I like the idea, but it has to be practical and not bog down mission planning unduly. Those guys have plenty to deal with already.
