Right as I mentioned a while back I am doing custom helmets for our squadron.

I've currently done some preliminaries for myself, Shane, John and Mutley with Dom and Beanie still WIP.

The idea is I will just include them all in the livery pack for the tomcat and then provide you with personal lua files that will point to your helmet. of course only you will see your own helmet but hey its cool right. Good for pics and such. I have also done a Jester helmet for the Rio based on Jesters from top gun just for laughs.

So anyway here are the first draft WIP's for Shane and John.

With Shane I have gone for a silver grey helmet with a flying alien and his name in an alien type font and stars to the right side (not really visible on this pic)
And for John rather than scooby doo which was my first thought I instead tapped into his petrol head and went with a blue helmet with Subaru stars and swooshes.
All helmets have RAF XI(F) squadron and union jacks to the left ear.

They are looking a bit darker in game that in the editing software so I might lighten them up a bit yet. These are a bit basic at the moment but feel free to comment or sketch something else you'd like. Once finalised I will add everything to the files and dish them out.

I am also going to tackle the flight suit too once these are done.

are these seperate from aircraft skins?

The helmets are part of the aircraft files so need to be in the folder with the skins. However the lua points to which one to use so will need to be edited for the file you would like to use.

They are seperate images though in the file.

It's Mazda racing colours. If you can manage the colours, but without the various sponsors that would be amazing.
