Agreeable on all points, however as it currently stands I doubt whether there is room in a given mission for 10 x 14's to be given a role , I'm no mission planner but I'd say that's a shit load of work for a planner,
Common sense factor kicking in would suggest that Pongo's input would be the way forward, Gain Air Superiority then go with the Vienna's

We only have 7 Pilots at present if Uber is doing RIO.
I would suggest for a dedicated F14 mission (if everyone flies) a max of 4 x Vultures on air support and 3 x Bombcats taking out ground targets.

I think Mongo wants to fly as well, so if he was in the pilot seat and scooby uses Jester, we could do that, but it would mean all have to fly.
In terms of mission building, the number of aircraft is not a major drama so long as the mission planner uses a set of wypt for all and a form IP point that the vultures go forward from and then call a code word for the strike package to move in. Time on target for the strike guys can be minimised and if it runs smoothly, all jets can be in and out, ground targets shacked and enemy air downed in under 10 minutes.

Re: We seem to be getting bigger
I'm perfectly happy for Uber to fly also.
Full squadron is
Mutley
Scooby
Father Cool
Alien
Eshark
Ferret
UberMongo
Pongo
and Beanie but I think he is going full time F16 tbh.
8 in all really
