Kudos to Shaggy for getting his shit together, I think I learn't more yesterday in 2 sessions than I have in the last few months, for sure some things went a little sideways but we were able to suss out what it was and correct it.
Having a real Rio really does make a difference to the Sim, great fun.

Just a little of what we got up to last night.

Great work that chaps.

As for the Lantirn camera I noticed near the beginning that the QHUD mode was a nice surprise for you. There are several modes that the lantirn camera work in. QHUD (when in A/G, it's QADL in A/A) fixes the camera on the boresight of the ADL which is great for aquiring targets if you are diving towards them however it is safer if the pilot flies over the target rather than at it maintaining altitude and using QSNO on the Lantirn (S4 down) that mode is similar to QHUD but angles down at the ground in a snowplough fashion approx 15nm ahead of the plane (hence the name) that way you can keep out of to much danger while still aquiring the target. I covered these in my first couple of lessons but of course Uber you weren't a member then.
