11 SQN
It is a training mission not an operational one.
IN BRIEF: Formal launch, Tank, NOE ingress, attack, specified egress, divert to low viz landing at 'told at time' field followed by Case 2 Carrier recovery with correct COMMS. The boat will be very busy!

Runway denial with F14's and 1xF18 per flight. F14 flight component may be 1, 2 or 3 F14's
F18 component will LEAD NOE through the SAM defences & SEAD over the airfield.
F14 bombing runway and infrastructure.
YARDSTICK - BATTLE (heavy if 3 F14's in a flight - Trail 10 sec separation
Specified ingress & egress route. Deviation could be painful.
ROUTECARDS provided.
Difficulty: Medium for experienced pilots.
Waypoints. Follow the routecards. F14 aircraft waypoints inbuilt SP=Tanker RV 1= start point after tank 2=feet dry 3=target runway centre. Egress SOUTH then follow RIONI River WEST to open sea.
Ah yes, the weather is crap, squally, rain, some cloud near the deck etc... normal weather... but it is daylight 'ish
892NAS
Apart from Pathfinders, all aircraft involved in concurrent exercise SOUTH of RIONI river

Please see viewtopic.php?f=320&t=5121 especially this 'Views on having it mandatory for 892NAS training missions' Would this be an issue for joint training ops?
Kind Regards
