Have a look at these lads, Carrier based comms in a word format is being worked on.
The new carrier will probably become the norm for departure on missions, however we will work on the comms for both landbase & carrier ops.

Credit to shaggy John, he suggested it be made more user friendly, so we went through it this morning, hence the amended doc.

Hi guys,

I know , yet another Comms Doc but I really want to pin down the Comms side of things, eg: Calls to ATC / SHIP and Internal chat between flight elements etc

The sheet for download is what I'd like you guys to get in your heads, it doesn't have to be absolutely verbatim word for word but it does have to make sense and be correct, eg: entering CTR East when you're actually approaching from the North

We are going to fly by the numbers, On Alt / On Speed / On Radial when departing and recovering, so start getting used to using your kneeboard charts

I'm going to refer to the entry exit points on any given ARR/DEP chart as CTR, eg: UZI 1, climb 300 ft runway heading, depart CTR South and / or, continue as fragged. so when your in the pit waiting for INS look at your kneeboard for that particular airbase, note down the radials to fly for exiting and recovering.

Unless otherwise stated , the max height entering into the CTR will be 2000 ft and no lower than 1500ft, your speed within the CTR will be 250knts max.

Re the WP Markers disregard the E/E East south etc name tags

the term fraged comes from an old grunt term , " frag his arse " Frag his pit or bunk " comes from the use of fragmention grenades , also used to do away with officiers in the field , namly in veitnam.

i had to read it twice lol , there was i thinking omg they are gona frag my arse lol
