1(F) Squadron IFR Training.
Training Mission for IFR approaches to airfields (Sochi channel 12 on AWLS) and the HMS Hermes (Tacan 12X), Tanker Texaco at 1000ft (10X Tacan) in a racetrack over the Hermes
Waypoint 3 will set you up at 11NM for an AWLS approach at Sochi on a runway heading of 060 (runway 06), once you conduct your approach or touch and go head for the HMS Hermes on 12X Tacan and conduct an IFR approach in accordance with our Carrier Procedures document attached below.
*I have also included a picture of the preprogramed AWLS channels in the Harrier for further reference.
