There may be, some of our guys are insomniacs 🤣. Are you a Tomcat pilot or RIO mate?

Hi guys, I’m a budding Hornet driver transferring over from the Hawg a few weeks ago.

I’m sorry to have interrupted if this is a Tomcat only training session. I was just hoping to get some carrier landing/carrier ops training done with some pilots that knew what they are doing.

I’ll still be in at 10pm tonight might catch a 3 wire if I’m lucky!

Afterr Action Report:

Despite a late cancellation of Carrier Training due to a DCS bug, We quickly changed our plans and carried out some NAV grid Training instead. Overal it was a very good and beneficial Session. Shane's comms training was spot on and myself provided an in depth explanatiuon of NAV Grid setup, usage and capabilities.

Attendees:
Shaggy UZ LEAD RIO
Alien UZI LEAD
Scooby UZI 2
Eshark UZI 3

We used FC's A-G mission version 3. Went through Nav Grid setup and usage. Uzi 2 and UZi 3 was able to follow instructions and utilise NAV Grid. Unfortunately the Bandit Triggers and SAM's did not actiivate for the mission. We believe this to be down to the extra time we spent on the airbase carrying out the training for NAV Grid set up. UZI Lead carried out 3x succesful LGB bombings via Lantern. We then returned back to Stennis, UZI lead caught a 3 wire and UZI 2 caught a 2 wire. UZI 3 had to leave before end of session.

Quick reminder to check our training calendar for upcoming sessions.
