Nav Grid Debrief.

Gentlemen, thanks for attending tonight and I can whole heartedly say that was a real;ly successful training session with lots learned, All SAM's eliminated, Ground Targets destroyed and CAP Patrol eliminated the Fast Movers on intercept.

Antendees:
Shaggy RIO for UZI1 Lead A-G loadout
Alien R UZI Flight Lead
Scooby UZI 1-2
Mutley UZI 2 Lead
Matt (Special Guest) UZI 2-2

Shaggy carried out the short brief on TS and selected Flight structure appropriate to the number of attendess.
Once allignment was complete, NAV GRID setup was carried out and explained before UZI proceeded with TAXI to Runway.
UZI Flight broke formateion at Waypoint 1
UZI 1 proceeded to Waypoint 2 and established left hand orbit at Angels 25
UZI 2 moved to Sector 3, 65 miles out from YY and established CAP orbit as instructed by UZI Flight Lead
UZI 1-2 instructed to carry out SEAD attack. Succusefully eliminated all SAM threats in the AO requiring 2 x runs
UZI 1 Lead then proceeded with designating ground targets and preparing for bomb runs. All targets destroyed. 1st: Helicopte, 2nd: Command Post, 3rd: Lead vehicle convoy, 4th: 2x Tank convoy escort
Enemy Hostiles triggered for intercept
UZI 2 succesfuly eliminated all Bandits, Well done Matt for taking out 2x Bandits.
UZI Flight then returned to base.

Mission total time was 1.40hrs

Improvements for next session:
Allocate and provide in breif , flight Rado frequencies for seperate flights.
Keep improving comms and reduce usage of TS during mission.

Overalll bloody brilliant mission and executed very well. I really came out of this mission with a huge smile. I also got to see my first MUTLEY LANDING which was absolutley hilarious! Fair play Mutters for saving it on the grass!

Thanks all that attended!

Somethingi forgot to mention on ts.
1 can we agree a qfe/qnh pre takeoff,, i recomend setting altimeter to zero at homebase pre takeoff.
2 i also recomend we al trim hud to zero pre takeoff too, lead was climbing out at 10 degrees but my hud was showing around 7 to stay in formation, gets confusing quickly

@scooby, definitely a good suggestion and something we need to remember to include in Comms also.

@FatherCool, it was great and FYI we used Operation Pheasant Beater.
