Having tried out the first A-10C OCU mission, the reaction was generally favourable, and so I have made a number of corrections to the mission, which I will use in future.
I have also prepare a 2-page outline of the mission, which should be taken as a pre-brief for anyone who want to fly it in the future. This is attached below.
Also attached, is a short explanation of altimeter setting procedures, which I have published in response to a question asked after the above sortie.
Finally, I have also attached, an outline of what I feel should be the A-10C standard start and departure procedure. I will shortly publish similar outlines of in-flight procedures and recovery procedures.

Re: A-10C OCU
Unfortunately my mother has been taken ill and I'm afraid I can't make it again tonight.
I hope I'll be able to make it next week if there is space.

Re: A-10C OCU
Hi all,
fast recovery to your mother Andrew.
I have a couple of questions:
1) can i fly with one of the second 4 x A10C ( if any available) or i have to wait for my wings award to join?
2) Shall i submit a PIREP after the flight if i can fly or i have to wait for my wings again?
P.S. I love the explanation of altimeter settings!
It feels like i'm back at ground school!

Re: A-10C OCU
Falcon, turn up by all means. I am sure we can get you airborne with someone to check you.
Beforehand:
make sure that you can get onto TeamSpeak, to the non-password protected 'room';
ensure that you have SRS set up and tested, using the RAF air SRS server;
ensure that you can get onto the RAF Air Server.
I will be using my server for this evenings, but the procedure is exactly the same as for the main RAF Air server.
See you on our TeamSpeak at 1930.
