Richard,
Sounds good. Does your new system include a more powerful GPU?
I've added the Mutley memorial to the miz. We will see it as we taxi out.

Slightly Geoff.
I've gone from a 4th gen i3 to a Razen 5 and gone from 12 to 16gb ram. Put a 480gb ssd in just for dcs etc with windows on smaller ssd.
Still with your 970 gpu, and the whole dcs seems quite a bit quicker at loading.
See if it all works Tuesday

Geoff, I have looked at the the brief. It looks a bit prescriptive to me. As I read it, I have to orbit at the strafe pit at 5000 ft, descending to 1000 ft for the strafe, but then climbing back up to 5000 ft for my next orbit. I have not flown it yet but I doubt whether it is practical. I suggest in a pattern we all fly at the same height.

Alan,
It is a little prescriptive. I was trying to keep us all together in an orbit, so when we left, in order, the spacing between us would be minimised. We need to keep together in both ranges.
I take your point that we all fly the same altitude in the pattern, after the first gun run.
So, now, we will all fly the circuit at 3000ft, 240KIAS. Is that acceptable?

That should do it. I am not sure the A-10 has the power to fly such a short pattern and gain and loose a few thousand feet on each circuit, while holding a constant ias. There would also be the problem of keeping eyes on other formation members at such varying heights.

Paul,
Have you uploaded the final miz to one of our servers?
I posted it on the 6th at 2125hrs, if you need a copy.

Yes, I did it yesterday, can only run it on Servers 1 or 3 though. don't know why it won't display on servers 2 or 4.

Sorry to be a continuing pain, but I have just checked the weapon loading. We have 6 x Mk82 AIR, but the brief requires us to drop 5 with a 300 ft spacing. That is a very large spacing - the usual default is 75 ft, and even that is a bit long against tanks.
I suspect the profile should be 6 bombs, with a 75 ft spacing, dropped from 300 ft agl. Can you confirm that?
