I’m sure the new joiners will have noticed the slow pace of training currently. This has been caused by a variety of factors, real life unexpected problems, real life work patterns, COVID-19 and normal day to day issues.
I’ve been contemplating a fix for some time and I think we have a workable solution.
To free up the more experienced QFIs to carry on training the advanced courses post EFT we will be looking at selecting a few extra pilots to carry out training.
Coincidentally Willo came forward and volunteered to be a QFI so a plan was hatched. I am pleased to announce that he passed the QFI flight with flying colours last night. As he was the first it was quite testing for him as not only was he being tested he was also helping out by providing feedback to me as to what worked and what didn’t. Thanks from me and great job buddy.
