Lantirn Training Mission

Post by Father Cool »

Soon I will be running a training mission for those interested to get to grips with the Lantirn pod for bombing precision targets.

In the meantime below is a target pack showing the targets that we will be engaging.

Could anyone wishing to take part ensure that they have set up their Lantirn controls prior to me organising the mission.

There are no hard and fast rules of what you have to have mapped where and there is no rush, I can arrange the mission time accordingly. You just need to know where your controls are mapped. A crib sheet is recommended.

I gave Shane and Eshark a bit of a talk through the controls last Thursday so they should be set up however if anyone else needs some guidance give me a shout.

problem with that is i need to know what the functions actually do before i decide where to bind it, a bunch of random acronyms mean roughly sod all, hence the training

Indeed. I went through these with Shane and Shark on Thursday. Its very worthwhile. I will knock up a list of commands at lunch to explain what each does.

Here is a basic set up guide for you to follow. I think that there may be one other line missing at the top but not sure. If there is let me know.
