Replacement Lantirn mod file

Post by Father Cool »

Ok me and Shane were discussing adding waypoints via the manual menu. Its a chore.

I suggested modifying the keybinds to allow the pilot to key in waypoint directly so I looked at the file and this works.

If you want to give it a go feel free. It adds controls to be bound to your keyboard keypad to make entering co-ordinates a doddle.

Key 1 is latitude and Key 6 Longitude as well as 1 & 6. It will make sense when you use it.

Edit: WH version is just for warthog stick users.

Revised version now later in thread.

Shane was sorted last night. We dropped 8 bombs between us and I hit with 4 and Shane hit with 3 so doing pretty well.

I am not sure what the issue is with your set up bud but every one of my controls does exactly what it says on the tin. I can only think there is some conflict on yours or there's a process that needs to be done that you are not doing. Probably through no fault other than not knowing the system.

I will put together a step by step guide to try to walk people through getting the targets locked, bombs dropped and lasing done.

Regards
FC

Revised files that now include the full nav programming binds. You need them if programming nav points via the keyboard.

No too sure but it seemed to be something not done in the right order or set correctly initially. After it was sorted he was dropping and lasing fine.

Lantirn Mod.zip
Lantirn Mod WH.zip
I already have the Lantirn WH enabled in OVGME,
The Lantirn CAP file overlaps when I try to enable in ovgme, so can I overwrite the keyboard/default .lua ??

You need to disable the mod in OvGME then overwrite the file in your OvGME install folder and then re enable it. Its a direct replacement for the original one.
