I'm not a major fan of night flying myself. I like scenery to look at but its something that we certainly need to practice.

Indeed we do mate, that carrier is way more intimidating in the dark,
also as far as the Lantirn goes, I found it hard to try and distinguish dead tgts from live tgts with the red screen, green would be much better

Green messes with your night vision though (your actual eye night vision) red doesn't hence the red.
